Another machinima! He’s Watching You is a more abstract video this time, combining and overlaying video and audio.
He’s Watching You from Tizzy Canucci on Vimeo.
The video uses material from a performance last weekend (11 June 2016) by SaveMe Oh, with music provided by Echo Starship. There was a previous performance with SaveMe Oh and Morlita Quan. Both were really interesting, but I felt that just taking material from one performance made something that hung together better. This half was the more abstract one, which is partly what attracted me.
The event took place at Glasz DeCuir‘s Machinima Experimental Lab in Second Life, as part of an exhibition of posters produced for movies using Second Life settings, or for Second Life machinima. I have a couple of posters in this exhibition, which I talked about in my previous post. There is some really good work in there, and it’s well worth looking round.
The music in the video is Hope (In Search of Light) by Ars Sonor (CC BY-NC-SA 3.0, but is no longer available online as of January 2020), which runs from beginning to end. This is combined with a recording of Echo Starship’s music performance in the second half of the machinima.
