I was over at Tales from the Ghost Forest for my last blog post, and decided to take a peek over the hill. And this is what I found. I’d heard of Ascension, and it was somewhere I was intending to go sometime soon.

Ascension is an LEA art project SIM by Mantis Oh, and the notecard you are given on arrival says: “Ascend yourself, and who know’s what will follow?”

This is futuristic stuff, of fantastic plants, improbable shapes and impossible floating objects. And lots of black things and bright coloured lights. This is the imagination made solid in the way that only can exist in virtual worlds, riding over the material limitations of the real world and allowing exploration in three dimensions.

There is a lot to explore, and a hunt – if you like that kind of thing.
